	Pair Lose Smutty E-Mails Case

Sending smutty e-mails via company computer systems can cost you your job, workers have been warned after a landmark employment tribunal ruling.

The warning comes after a Huddersfield-based firm, Holset Engineering, sacked two workers for forwarding dozens of smutty e-mails to 40 colleagues.

The pair, David Pennington and Rupert Beverley, had claimed unfair dismissal but an industrial tribunal earlier this month unanimously backed the firm and rejected their claims. Press Association
